Samara's response
Morgan, I would like to say that this is an interesting topic but then I would be lying. Politics bore the heck out of me. As long as you like it though that's all that matters. I think your research so far is well done and thorough. You've got some funky color schemes going on. ... If you're concerned about your spelling there is a spell check on the tool bar above the posting area. It's ABC with a check under it. You seem to really enjoy your topic and know what you're talking about, keep up the good work!!

Morgan-
This is a topic that seems to be just right for you. However, I am having trouble finding your notes and your responses. Perhaps that's just me. I don't know. Other than that, you seem to have some great research. It might be beneficial for you to further narrow your topic. It also seems that some substantial background research is in need here. I'm not sure just how well you or anyone for that matter would be able to properly interpret this information they did not have even a small amount of vague Middle Eastern history. How did these countries come to be? What out the war lords in power? Was Saddam Hussien "in power"? It seems that perhaps this new power has come into existence to fill the gap that we created. I think that you might find some very interesting information on blogs hosted from the Middle East. Google offers some very interesting translations of these blogs. I also am aware of the deplorable situation in Egypt. I know this isn't the Middle East but Egypt is in quite a state of disruption. I just read an article about how FaceBook is being used to organize people within Egypt since it is illegal to have an unauthorized gathering of more than 5 people. Just a suggestion.

This topic looks very interesting. Your articles were wide-ranged which is good, and I loved your responses and how you decided to change your topic around. I'm sure there are many magazines about this issue, that you could find anywhere.
Comment on Research
Morgan, I recently learned about this subject in World Studies. I have packets and packets on the conflicts in the Middle East, you are welcome to borrowing them anytime. I would say personally the main conflict it having the U.S military in there, as do you. I think you have a lot of information on Barack Obama( which by the way gave me some information as well) and the U.S but maybe focus a little more on the Israel/Palestinian conflict, Iran, and the Gulf for they all play huge roles in the mess in the Middle East. Some magazines such as Time, the New Yorker and the Economist probably have many articles on your subject. I have many lying around my house for you to borrow a swell, but the library I believe has them too.
