politics in the middle east

This is a very big, current topic. It has many viewpoints and is always changing. I think s few things you might want to consider researching to help you find information, or draw conclusions, are how the political state has changed over the past years, why it has changed, compare to another country's political state, and what is being done in the Middle East. You might also want to research leaders, movements, and how the society is involved in the government. this subject will have lots of information and be very interesting to read about.

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions!

For I-Search there were three different items I wanted to look at: The war in Iraq, the economy, and Middle Eastern Politics.
When I first started looking at the War in Iraq, I couldn’t find anything on the war. All I found was political references, which wasn’t what I wanted. It was all about George Bushes policies and American politics in reference to the war. I wanted to find detail on the war; I don’t care about the politics.
For the economy, everything was on the election or the stock market. I couldn’t find anything on how the economy was affecting Joe the Plumber, Joe six-pack, or Hockey moms everywhere. My interest was in how the economy was affecting average people, not Wall Street or Washington, D.C.
I’ve done the most research on the political climate in the Middle East, because I’ve been able to find the most information specific to what I want. I’ve found information on some of the alliances in the Middle East and where the deep the enemies are. Most articles mention Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Israel in combination with some other countries. I really want to learn more about how the are working together.
My interest is in the Middle East and I’m pretty sure that I will pick that as my topic. Yet the political situation in the Middle East combines other elements of the war in Iraq and the Economy, So I won’t be giving up information, just narrowing my topic.
