Tit for Tat

Many people want to see what Obama will due with policies before his term. He needs to be edjucated and so should everyone else. I only used part of this article because only part of it applied to my topic. The article discussed the Middle Eastern Arms race and how when one country has developed weapons another one has also done so to help protect themselves. Israel developed nuclear weapons with the help (and blessing) of the United States. Everyone seems to be OK with that but every one is throughing a political hissyfit over Iran getting nuclear weapons. Wasn't that the whole point of the Cold War, The United States stockpiling weapons to protect them from the Soviet Union, and the Soviet Union doing the same?

What will Obama due when he takes Office?
India develope a nuclear bomb because Pakistan had one.
But know one talks about Israel's compasity for a bomb when Iran's developing technology is.
"Why is Iran's response to Israel's arsenal more objectionable than India's response to Pakistan's?"

Today I have very much narrowed my topic. It used be the politics of the middle east in genral(spelling????) now I want it to be locked into the United States policies towards the Middle East.
